Chinese sucked

It is fairly obvious why mother tongue and project work are year 1 subjects. Cuz if they're not, nobody will care about them at all (ok except some cheena freaks and sadistic psychos)..

I can't believe 10 months have passed since I came into junior college. After days after days of excessive gaming and gossiping extreme mugging and enthusiastic learning, I managed to squeeze into the top 10% of the cohort.. Wowww.. Here comes my bursary scholarship, my money, my wives my freedom...

This year will be the year of my life, for it will (hopefully) be the 1st time I travel outside South-East Asia. Fantastic right? Apparently, I'm supposed to learn how to cook my father's Bak Kut Teh (meat bone tea..wtf??) and chicken rice, which my sister loves to eat, but I'm not interested in learning them anyway.. Might as well just write a recipe and let me go to Germany for some funnn... WAHAHAHAHAHAHA

BUT WAIT, before that, there are 2 horrific events of the year.. The first being the oral presentation and the other being the Singapore Chiimistry Olympiad.. Not like I care a lot for any of them, but since both of them are tests, and I'm pretty bored nowadays, I shall try my best to improve on them (though I still don't see any hope in them)...
Oral presentation especially. After several criticisms and personal attacks constructive feedbacks to improve myself, I still do not have the looks of someone who is presenting.. Many say that my oral presentation skills are not up to standard and I'm supposed to be very passionate about the project.. Moreover, my answers to the questions are quite crappy, and may even end up devaluating the project..
Chimistry Olympiad isn't much of a problem since it's not that important to me.. The reason why I decided to join it is solely because I get to skip PE because I want to learn more..

Nevertheless, I still look forward to 13th December (hopefully the plane doesn't crash...choiii) where I can experience winter for the 1st time bwahahahahahaahaaaaaa

FINALLY, I'M FEELING BORED AGAIN

Well this may be good news for blog stalkers, since I only blog when my boredom level rises to a maximum.

Next Monday will be the life-or-death mother tongue examination that will separate those who get to feel sad for missing their chinese teachers from those who feel sad for wasting another year learning a boring subject that is soooo popular with chinese students (well you can't deny that all of them took chinese one way or another, can you?).. As for me, I was happy that I managed to get C for chinese in my promotional exams, and is not intending to aim any higher. My teacher commented that most of my storylines are bizarre and unrealistic, despite not falling into the trap of writing off-topic. Well as long as we don't write off-topic, the content mark for paper 1 will definitely be passed... Hopefully the paper will be easy. You may ask why, since there's a process of moderation involved, but I don't want to waste too much of my brain cells in Chinese I want everyone to be happy and relaxed after the examination :)

Many sad things have been happening to me lately. Ranging from getting a B for Physics to having a talk with Mr Francis Tong, Head of the Discipline committee, regarding "behavioral" problem.
It's the first time in my entire life getting B for physics, and I feel that it's very pathetic.. It's my fault, I must admit, since I only value last minute work which obviously didn't help much (If it did, then it's even worse)... Physics is not exactly my best or favorite subject, but I didn't expect a disappointing grade such as that to be awarded... TO make up for this, I shall quit DOTA forever (though there's high probability that this is false)
After for the conversation with Mr Francis Tong, I have successfully got involved in all the Discipline Heads in Primary School, Secondary School(not very much though), and Junior College.. Quite an achievement right? I attended my second detention class in the year and had to write a Reflection letter. I wrote one before and I felt extremely bored so I decided to write something extraordinary... Apparently, they told us to pen down our true feelings but I learnt that we cannot write that we're bored, an ultimate irony.. Perhaps some nerds find detention class fun?? I don't really know.. An advice for everyone, should he ask you out for a nice conversation for behavioral issues, just say "I'm sorry, I'm in the wrong" before making any attempt to defend yourself.. Otherwise it will ultimately be your loss. (I was expected to not trust the SBS Transit and find out whether there's an earlier bus than stated on the board; I was expected to walk at at superhuman speed in order to reach school on time; I was expected to call the teacher despite being unfamiliar with their phone numbers when I'm late for detention class; I was expected to write something that the teachers will pleased to read; all because I tried to defend myself)... Well, I've learnt my lesson

H3 application was a horror for me... I forgot to attach my O level certificate and
NRIC photocopy to my application form, all thanks to having to rush down for detention class my negligence.. Now I probably have very little chance of getting my desired H3 subject... Furthermore, I was dissuaded from taking 2 H3 subjects from my teacher and friends... Apparently I have to make a very difficult decision (in fact it's a gamble) whether to drop my H2 geography to take 2 H3 or to keep H2 geography and take 1 H3 (which creates another problem, WHICH OF THE 2 SHOULD I TAKE??) .. Interested in chemistry, but I heard it's difficult. Not interested in maths, but I heard it's easy...

The most sad event, of course, is that some of my classmates may not be able to make it for JC2. Our class will definitely be much much emptier without them., that goes without saying.

I'm so busy... but I'm still bored

As stated in the title, I've been very busy for the past few weeks. But the main point is, I'm busy with things that I'm not interested in...
Firstly, I'm very busy with Project Work... There's this Evaluation of Material thing that constitutes only about 6.67% of my project work grade but requires me to spend 3 friggin hours of my life to do it (and still counting)... Then again, I heard that most of my friends spent more than 5 hours on it to my delight =) ... I don't really care much about my PW grade but I have to waste lots of time on it, even if I have to submit a lousy piece of assignment...
Secondly, I'm busy with the loads of General Paper homework... My new GP teacher gives soooo many assignments and threatens to give more if we don't complete them.. Now every week I have to cut out some weird newspaper articles and give comments on it. In case you didn't know, I'm an arch-enemy of the newspapers, and have quarreled with my parents several times as they always wanted me to read newspaper... I will seriously fall asleep within 10 minutes if I were to really sit down and concentrate on reading newspaper...
I'm also busy with LEO Club activities (not really)... The Installation & Induction ceremony required me to memorise the sign language of a song L.O.V.E by Nat King Cole WITHIN ONE WEEK... obviously enough, I couldn't be bothered to remember all those sign language and preferred to camouflage within those who could really do it.. Some time after that, I had to contact the primary school kiddywink whom I'm supposed to tutor for an appointment with him though this was mostly done by janet
Lastly, I'm busy with the renovation of my house... It's so friggin irritating that every weekend, which are my supposed leisure time, I have to help my parents to renovate the house by shifting furniture, arranging things blahblahblah...

As for JCT results, I'm lazy to post everything here, but I got AAAC/S/C in the order PCMG/G.P./C.L. ... Quite expected for me to sub-pass GP since newspapers and magazines (Times, Broader Perspectives) are usually chucked aside while I read my manga... Sub-passing GP doesn't really motivate me to read more, for goodness sake haha... If I fail it in promos then too bad lo I can go get retained...
My biggest achievement is that I passed geog and even got 4th in level for it (out of of 50+ students only =.=)Like omg?? I don't even know how I managed that... Even though I did study a lot of geography during the holidays, I didn't expect to do so well...

That's all for the post, bye-biii

June Common Test's over!! ... soon...

2 days before JianLiang's last test in the highly notorious TJCT, he finally found the mood to write a post in this nearly forgotten blog. During the June holidays, JianLiang had been reading up a lot on geography so as not to write a bloody 1 page essay that has happened before (though he's happy that Mr Charles Elwin didn't give him back the test paper... yet...) and also because his parents were nagging and bitching at him every single day in his June holidays.

Of course, rather than studying for the JCT 24/7 which is like meaningless and boring, JianLiang has also been concentrating in leveling up his maplestory character (which is also why his parents nagged so much). As a result of his hard work, he painstakingly brought his priest to 4th job (aka bishop). Such an irony, though, that JianLiang chose to play a job that is so closely related to religion despite being a free thinker (or maybe atheist). However, he find that this job in maple is most suitable for him as he prefers supporting (and magic) to brutal combat (though maple's killing mode isn't that brutal...). Some of his dishonest and sly classmates commented that it's easy to reach that level using bots and hacks... Such illegal progams are not even within his reach, and JianLiang will definitely not use them as using them will bring smiles to the hackers who apparently destroyed many maplers lives by "confiscating" their items and money as payment for the hack...

During the June holidays, JianLiang was not able to go out often because he apparently ran out of money because his parents refused to pay him for all the notes and stationeries he paid for with his meagre allowance...
After the June holidays, the much awaited June Common Test has begun, with the first paper being his worst of the worst subject... Surprisingly, JianLiang managed to write a 2 page essay for both questions (each), and hereby concluded that he improved by 100% ever since the last essay test.. Most of the tests that JianLiang did were held in the air-conditioned classroom (which is good) except CHINESE LANGUAGE, where the classroom was so warm!! Sheeesh, the thick material used in the school uniform didn't help at al!!

Lastly, JianLiang would like to thank the Singapore Examination Assessment Board for robbing him of his only chance to get an award from Tanjong Katong Secondary School... What a perfect coincidence that his GCE 'A' Level Chinese Language Oral Examination falls on 15th July, which is the speech day for his secondary school, and also the day of release of Harry Potter: Half-Blood Prince's sneak preview. Hopefully, the oral examination will end before the gossip club members go and watch the sneak preview, or JianLiang will really "love" SEAB, and the language, for eternity...

Ciao (which means later in japanese Italian I guess)--- thanks to wanchen for pointing it out

Huh? What do you mean by title?

It's been 3 weeks since JianLiang last blogged since he has been busy with the numerous homework + project task... Nevertheless, he has found a perfect time to blog, that is when his brother has been using the computer (with games inside) from day to night...

In the past few weeks, JianLiang had been to 2 concerts, namely the Musique pour Tonjours by TJ Chinese Orchestra (TJCO) as well as the Prelude 29 by TJC Symphonic Band (TJCSB)... Both are pretty successful as both halls seem to be full... There are also some surprising elements in each concert ..hee
TJCO: They invited the magician from TJC and made some of the orchestra members appear out of nowhere... JianLiang wondered if there's a trick to it or was it real magic as seen in computer games... The TJCO members also seemed like they enjoyed playing the music as JianLiang could see many of them dancing to the song/beat
TJCSB: JianLiang went to support the 4 band members from his class and also some others who are from other classes...The Stage Band part of the concert was like WOW!! It was totally hilarious... JianLiang couldn't believe that the JC1s came up with such an idea... Other than that, the music was pleasant to listen to and JianLiang regretted missing the 1st piece (Machu Pikachu) since SOMEONE decided to come late... And lastly, JianLiang noticed a whole chunk of grammatical errors when he read the programme schedule... O.o

On Wednesday, 13th May 2009, JianLiang had his first (and hopefully the last) detention class... It was very, very, very boring haha... Those in detention class had to write a reflection about what they have done wrong... After which, they were given articles about behaviour and discipline to read (or at least pretend to).. The worst thing is, they didn't let anyone sleep lol.. Discipline Committee people are so evil heeheee

On Friday, 22nd May 2009, JianLiang had his first (AND ALSO HOPEFULLY THE LAST) beach cleaning organised by the LEO club.. It is there that he realised that the east coast park beach is quite a good place to study geography (by identifying rocks)... Not like he didn't pick up any litter at all, but most of the time, he was strolling along the beach and was pretending to find finding some litter..

About every JC1s' (or at least those in TJC) most hated topic, JianLiang project work group was having a lot of problems working on the emergency proposal.. As a result, they have decided to change to conservation... This is a relief to many of the members in his group as they all seemed to have a headache about how to carry out the proposal... Conservation is a much easier topic (at least until our proposal is rejected...touch wood!)

Fine I'll blog

Since many of JianLiang's blog fanatics were complaining that his blog was "dead" (was it ever alive in the 1st place) and that he had not blogged for a long time, he will take pity on them and blog again!!

As you can see, JianLiang has been very busy these few weeks, trying to do the super epic gigantic loads of homework that the teachers gave him.. The numerous tests that were held these few weeks didn't make it any better as JianLiang had to study for them.. One such test is the very lovely Human Geography test on Migration that JianLiang had to take the day before Labour Day... He studied a long time* for it, only to find that despite OPENLY cheating, in other words, putting the notes on the table and asking friends for help (while being ignored in the process), he could only manage to write 1 page.. ONE page for 2 essays... Wooow!! Amazing right... The only person who can beat win him in terms of shortness of essay is probably Sherwin**, although JianLiang is pretty confident that he's going to win (in terms of shortness)...
*Long time: Long time, in JianLiang's context, means more than an hour
**Sherwin: A guy who likes to molest JianLiang

And also, the Physics test that was held on the same day was equally horrible... Many blanks could be detected on JianLiang's paper as he had not enough time to complete it... And the fact that he could not copy from anyone beside him didn't help Nope he didn't think of cheating at all!! ^^

On Friday (aka Labour Day), JianLiang had to wake up pretty early*** in the morning considering that it's a holiday and he slept late the night before... He went out in a hurry, thinking that he's going to be late.. And yes, he was 5 minutes late, but the thing is, HE WAS THE EARLIEST PERSON TO REACH THERE!!! To think that he specially woke up 2 hours before the meeting time (12pm)
***early: In JL's context, (waking up) early during a non-schooling day means anytime before 12pm
To be honest, the outing was pretty boring for him.. He had to go on windows shopping for things that doesn't interest him much.. As the picture goes,

it's pretty boring to go shopping with girls, since it took a very long time before he got from 1st storey to the cinema/arcade(last storey).. Afterwards, he and his Gossip Club members found out that the movie screening time of "17 again" is at 6.20pm, which was pretty late and since JianLiang was already deprived of the mood to watch a movie, he decided to give it a miss. He went to play arcade games with the Gossip Club members after being decorated by Ida* by wearing the clothes she picked out for him at the 77th street..
Originally, they planned to go Seow Koon's** house to have steamboat dinner, sing karaoke, do homework etc.. But somehow, JianLiang and the Gossip Club ended up in Tampines Mall doing some boring window shopping.. Ironically, they did not gossip at all.. Zzzz
*Ida: A cool girl in the Gossip Club, you have no idea how stylish and cool she looked during the Gossip Club meeting XD
**Seow Koon: A weird blog fanatic who alternates the spectacles he wear every day, loves black and white (funeral colour) stuff, carries a sling bag in a gay manner and has a birthday on April Fools' Day.. Lol

That's all for today...bye

I am so friggin bored

As far as this blog is concerned, new posts always start appearing only when Low Jian Liang is bored... To the extent that he actually spelt his full name out.. Since he has nothing interesting to blog about, he shall go on ranting about his activities this week

Wednesday, 15 April 2009:
JianLiang took his first Physical Geography test, which he obviously studied a lot for.. Yeah right.. Still, he has a strong feeling that he's going to faail it anyway..
Many hours later, Jianliang went to the Alpha Biodiesel Pte Ltd with many other classmates to learn about biodiesel since someone signed him up for it when he was absent from school.. It was such an "unforgettable" experience as it was his first time in a plant(not the living plant duuhh)..
After the trip, me, wan(chen)^2 (I cant type "square" without numpad.."), Aish and JiaYan went to pizza hut to eat, not forgetting the usual gossip session. However, gossip contents are limited to the gossip club only, so I shall not post any of them here

Thursday, 16th April 2009:
JianLiang had another fun chemistry practical where he stained his shirt and fingers with Potassium manganate (VII).. That's not the worse part... The manganate(VII) ions are actually reduced to manganese dioxide, which permanently stained his shirt with a beautifully brown(shit) colour... Bleaching didn't help at all, according to his maid...

Friday, 17th April 2009:
Another much hated P.E. session... Too lazy to complain about it..
After which, there was a chemistry class test which he also studied a lot for.. ahem..

Saturday, 18th April:
JianLiang sacrificed his sleeping day for a visit to an elderly home organised by LEO Club... Upon his arrival, which was only 30 minutes after the expected meeting time, he heard some weird chinese songs which he didn't think that the elderly there had listened to them before.. Nevertheless, JianLiang just sang along..
After which, he had to play some weird game with the elderly and he seriously thought that those games are too lame to be fun.. He didn't participate much because 1)Many of the elderly spoke dialects which he doesn't understand. 2)Those elderly that spoke chinese were already taken by others and 3)He doesn't find any meaning in the game..

Sunday, 19th April:
JianLiang was bored... and hence the blog..

PW sucks

Aims of PW:
1) To create as much conflicts amongst classmates as possible
2) To make students more stressful as homework is "never enough"
3) To make students waste their public holidays/ school holidays/ weekends meeting up instead of taking a break.
4) To generate as much curses and swearings from students as possible
5) To make us hate MOE
6) To make Jian Liang blog about it... So it shall begin

OK since EVERYONE have been complaining that my previous blog posts is lame, I shall blog about something that everyone agrees on..
When I sign in MSN, I can seriously see many Display Names and messages regarding the "goodness" of PW..
For me, the good thing about my PW is that my group consists of friendly people.. As for Personal Irritation (PI), I did it within 3 hours and it's not rejected so I'm not particularly vexed about it.. PW lectures are probably the most boring lectures you can ever have.. Other than the part that I played bingo with Aish and Jia Yan the lecture is totally Zzz-ish although the lecturer was quite lame humorous.
On the whole, PW SUCKS! Please leave a tag if you agree with me ^^

That's all about PW.. Anyway, this week is soo damned fun... especially the chem practical which I didn't complete... I was running around the lab and madly stirring the sodium ethanedioate in order for it to dissolve haha.. My last resort was to use the spatula(the spoon-like thing) to stir just like how Patrick did it.. Of course, I didn't complete the experiment because I forgot to add the sulphuric acid XD.. It was so chaotic at the end that I became excited haha.. Why are chem practicals always so fun?? XD

One more thing... As a form of gratitude to Poh Ying who made my maths tutorial much more fun by sending me Graphic Calculator games (which many of my classmates desired a lot for), I shall help her advertise the Chinese Orchestra concert =)

Performers: TJC Chinese Orchestra
Date: 16 May 2009 (Saturday)
Time: 7.30pm
Ticket Price: $12 each (free seating)
Venue: Singapore Conference Hall
Music quality: Unknown
How to book: Approach any Orchestra member you know/ leave a tag

I want to go even though I don't like Chinese stuff a lot.. Anyone wanna go with me?

Bored again

Hi blog stalkers readers, as the title suggests, I am bored again...
Sundays (and some Saturdays) are such boring days... Nothing to do except to stay at home and do homework and play warcraft games..

What did I do this week? Nothing much, besides commenting that everything's ~-LAME-~.
I must admit that, however, Sports Day is absolutely ~~-LAME-~~. Where's the fun in watching people run and run and run?? Nevertheless, the cheer leading is not bad an attempt to make it less ~~-LAME-~~ although I see more of dancing than leading cheers.. Is cheer leading supposed to be like that? ~~-LAME-~~

On Tuesday, I sprained my neck when I woke up in the morning.. That may be because I used the wrong pillow to sleep haha.. It was so painful that I felt the pain even when I moved my hand... Went to the polyclinic with my mother and found out that the queue is so friggin long!! WTH I had to wait for like 1 hour before I meet the doctor for 5 minutes.. Zzz Polyclinics are ~~-LAME-~~..

I was so happy that I could skip PE for once, only to find out that my classmates was actually playing games during PE... So unlucky laaaaaa T_T...
Talking about PE, I had to run 3.2km during FRIDAY's Mess PE.. That was like so super friggin long... As usual, I came back last and cheered for the girls who was running their 2.4km... It was such a big commotion (come on it's only a mock 2.4km..) because 1)They are girls and 2)They were separated into 2 groups...
NOTE: The slowest boy and girl in our Mess PE group actually come from 25/09!! Boohooo? Not... Who cares haha.. Being last is more cool that being the first actually =P.. Although I must say that PE is ~~-LAME-~~!!

On Wednesday, I had to watch the Civics lectures... It was damn boring... I don't even know what the speaker was talking about in the Civics lecture.. I was sleeping (or at least trying to) during the whole lecture... You know why?? Because Civics lectures (and not forgetting contact times)are ~~-LAME-~~

I succeeded in rushing out my PI for PW haha... It was completed within 3 hours dude... But I would say it's not that much of a ~-lame-~ work =P... However, PW is ~~-LAME-~~

So what is not lame to me? Here's the part of the list:
Computer games, Animes, Mangas, Money, Escape Theme Parks, horror movies, animation movies, Chemistry practicals, PSP, music(those that doesn't make noise.. duhh) and many more! Haha

BYE!! Hope you had fun reading my ~~-LAME-~~ post!

First week of term 2 = boring... I can't believe only 1 week passed since my beloved holidays... Every Minute seemed like years to me.
There's nothing fun to blog about so I'll blog about what seemed to be most interesting in this week...

Hmm... Since SOME people wanted me to reveal my 2.4km-walkRUN timing, I will proudly say that it was below 20 minutes!! WOW.. That's like a record for me.. Exact timing: 18minutes 20 seconds (18.33minutes).. And since Rasheed and Sherwin wants me to calculate average speed, it is

Average speed= 2.4/(18.33/60)= 7.85km/h = 2.18m/s..
bwahahaha it's a big improvement from last time's 1.67m/s

Percentage improvement = (2.18-1.67)/1.67 X 100% = 30.9% ... Very lame right haha

Enough of numbers... On saturday, I went for LEO club induction camp which was not that bad but it could have been more fun if my clan/house had more people... In the afternoon I went to east coast park for the "Amazing" race..
Result of it: sunburnt skin + mosquito bites.. For those in my class (25/09!!), u probably heard in GP class during the first introduction that I hate outdoor activities.. NOW YOU KNOW THE REASON!!!

The barbecue at night was... fine... I was so surprised there was fried rice and vermicelli (is it correct spelling?) and I was like asking Janet how they barbecued the rice and vermicelli XD... Night walk wasn't scary at all and I don't know who came up with the idea of closing your eyes.. Where's the fun in this..

Ok enough of boring talks.. I so miss my holidays..
Instead of thinking only 1 week have passed since march holidays, let's all welcome the coming of June holidays 9 weeks later!! BYEZ!

March Holidays

Too lazy to blog these few days... Reason is that I was playing DotA and watching anime from day to night there is too much homework for me to do..

14th March, Saturday, I went for the archery course for the MINI Youth Olympic Games... Fret not, it's no way related to the lame physics "archery" precision/accuracy lesson... I didn't know that archery was that easy, considering the guide they gave us included every single part of the bow which nobody gives a heck about XD..
Of course, shooting indoors is much easier than outdoors like most olympic games archery do since the distance is super short and there is barely any wind to deflect the arrow

16th March, Monday, I went to KBOX @ Kallang Leisure Park with Wan Chen, Seow Koon, Devina, Patrick and Donavan.. It's my 1st time there and I found out that I actually know how to sing many songs minus the lyrics XD... I even know how to sing some chinese song (Don't underestimate my mother tongue ^^)
Had a lot of fun there, especially when some of them are dancing when we sang "Speedy Gonzales" but I missed out on Patrick singing "Phantom of the Opera" T_T... Oh, 1 more thing, Seow Koon was damn high when he sang lol... "high" as in the feeling as well as the height.. Why? He was jumping on the sofa haha XD

Was looking forward to Thursday's class outing but it obviously didn't happen because many of my classmates die also don't want to go cannot make it due to their activities..
After that day, it all came back to normal activities like dota dota dota!! doing homework.. When I did the chemistry online MCQ, I (or in fact many people) found out that there is an EPIC error on the answer.. They actually took the Ar of helium to be 4!! And I got the answer "wrong" because my worked out answer wasn't part of the choices so I random chose 1..

Ok I'm going to dota now (To be honest for once =P) so I shall blog the next time I'm free! Bye!

Title: Lazy to think

It is Friday, 13th March. As the date suggest, it is indeed a horrible day.

First, the friggin "responsible" CG rep sms-ed me the night before when I was asleep. This magical sms screwed up my bus calculations and caused me to be late since I had to find the NAPHA result slip...

Next, not only on Friday 13th, but on every Friday, there is this disastrous event called MESS PE which has a craziness level that increases throughout the year... I ran 3/5 of the rounds which are super friggin long... Then did at most 5/30 push ups and 10/30 sit ups... I had to do 5 pull ups but I obviously didnt and just pulled a bluff..

Even though it wasn't that much of a horror, I had a maths pop quiz during maths tutorial.. POP!!. Aish was soooo worried that she's going to fail it alone but I think this poppy is quite difficult-to-fail since the questions are so straightforward and easy... It's not even graded anyway.

During physics practical, some (or one) of my childish classmates hid my pencil case in the sink at the bench behind and made me sooo pissed that I screamed at Aish, the innocent victim who happened to talk to me when I was very angry... I feel so bad lol

Lastly, LEO Club meeting was horrible... Avalon(a clan in LEO; my clan) was supposed to have 36 people, and only a pathetic 12 turned up for the meeting while 15-24 people decided to quit LEO Club XD.. How loud do you think the cheer can get??? The Lecture Theatre was friggin cold and Janet even said she's freezing frozen...

While it's a disastrous day for me, it seems that it's also a disastrous day for a parrot(or a bird which look like one) I saw when I was walking out the school(gate at sports complex).. It was practically pole-dancing on the gate... It's obviously lost or its owner abandoned it... The parrot looked very well-groomed as the feathers are are clean and it's so fat that it can't fly lol... How did it end up at the gate? Nobody seriously knows!

WHEN WILL THE FRIDAY 13TH CURSE EVER END!!???

Internet problems + good news haha

my home internet sucks... not like I applied for those cheap dial-up connections as it's a 25mbps connection (if im not wrong)... I can use wireless but i cant use Ethernet zzz my "DotA" computer is very far from modem leh... Don't use Ethernet sure lag like crazy 1...

One good (or maybe not) news is that I've been accepted into Leo Club!! The group I'm in is called "Avalon" or something like that... Cooool!!
I always thought that there's an interview or something but in the end I can just join by writing down my name hahahahaha..

Another good news, I was not the last in the Friday mess (no typo involved) PE... I'm the 2nd last!! Woooohoooo ok no need to say "errrrrrr" so loudly... it's not like I'm any fitter than the last person... He got leg cramp so he cant run.. I wanted to walk with him but I met Modest Mr Tan halfway so I had to run zzzz... By the time I reached school (end of run) the other boys had already finished their endurance training (push up + sit up) thingy lo... Lucky me hahahaha...
Timing for 2.2km (where they probably didn't use the lovely Pythagoras' Theorem to calculate the length of slope) is 22 minutes..
So average speed = 2.2/(22/60) = 6km/h = 1.67 m/s

Ok before it gets too mathematical, I'll stop blogging =) byez

CCA!!

I AM GOING TO JOIN LEO CLUB EVEN THOUGH I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHAT THEY DO IN LEO CLUB I JUST JOIN BECAUSE I HAVE NO OTHER CHOICES IT SOUNDS FUN AND COOL!!!

I WENT FOR TENNIS TRIAL BUT THE COACH ASK ME TO PLAY ON THE SPOT AND I HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER SET OF PE ATTIRE SO I GAVE UP MAN HE'S LIKE SO STRICT AND FIERCE AND I CAN'T STAND HIM...

THEREFORE I CONCLUDE THAT LEO CLUB IS THE ONLY CCA WITH KIND AND EASY-TO-TALK-TO TEACHERS NOT LIKE THOSE ARROGANT AND STRICT AND BOSSY ONES...

LEO CLUB FTW!!! =)

Hatezzz

Today I found out 3 groups of people that I dislike...
The 1st group are the PE teachers. Get a life man every PE lesson must run run run run.. Hate them for their lack of creativity and understanding for weaker students... I don't find it logical when the teacher punished us because he used that useless-piece-of-shit loudspeaker which amplified the voice but made the sound incomprehensible and thus we don't get his instruction... Not to mention to fantastic engrish he used...

Next, I was reprimanded by the choir conductor because I didn't put choir as 1st choice... She asked me why I even went for audition if I don't intend to join choir... wtf man I went for audition to see whether I should join right?
Not like I go for audition = I must join choir --- pure nonsense
If I don't put as 1st choice means I don't intend to join? --- pure bullshit
Nevertheless, I seriously don't want to join choir after this reprimanding session with the conductor...
As a result, I hate all choral directors because my secondary school's director was also not any kinder than TJ's... Hate their sort of arrogant attitude

The last group members are those JC2s who treat their juniors (JC1s) like slaves, especially in PDPs...
Example 1, Wushu senior made Wanchen talk me into joining wushu and put her in a difficult situation when I refused..
Example 2, the WHOLE Student Council nominees were punished because a FEW nominees contacted the council for weird reasons that are not official or that they don't like the attire of some nominees...
I don't really hate them but I despise them... Can't they create a better environment for us to study/play in? Seniors have 200% authority over juniors?.. I don't think so... We share the same citizenship rights, don't we?
I must say that the SC and House Comm did create a wonderful facade for us during orientation, giving us no time to react when reality strikes...

That's all the hates for today... cya

Homeworks

It was 21st February, 4.30pm, I am officially bored again...

Thanks to the sadistic wonderful tutors and lecturers who give chunks of homework in an attempt torture the students help the students improve on the subject, I have been doing homework for the past 2-3 hours...

What I hate most, after all, is the chinese homework... 10 pages of words for me to read, of which 80% of them makes no sense (to me at least)... To make it worse, I had to memorise at least 5 out of 10 super duper long phrases in order to sub-pass Monday's silent writing (mo4 xie3)

While HCL tookers were happily slacking doing homeworks on other subjects during our chinese lessons, we poor little CL people had to force ourselves to keep awake, much less do the post-lesson homework...

On another note, chem, maths and physics homeworks are quite manageable, maybe because I like them more or because they give less homework...

Off to screwing up homework... CYA!!

PDP HEADACHE!!!

Sianz... My mother say bowling too expensive so cannot join
And she want me to join OAC or Track and Field which I don't like...
AND WHY MUST BADMINTON BE COMPETITIVE??? SO F***ING SIAN LA
In the end I chose
1)TENNIS,
2)SQUASH,
3)CHOIR,
4)LEO CLUB!!
Hope the either tennis or squash PDPs accept me although I didn't go for their trial... I chose them because they are like the closest to badminton in terms of playing style (use racket, hit ball/cock << dont think sick :P)...
Choir mah... Didn't want to choose but I have no other choices... If I'm soooo fated to join choir, 那就听天由命吧 (then listen to sky to decide life - ok I hate translating)... It's only 1.5 years anyway...
Leo Club is just an extra to fill in the blank haha... Unless choir reject me even though they only have 10 boys, I shouldn't be inside leo club... But it's not too bad either if I join it since they do charity mah...

Wow... Some of these traits are quite true actually, but I don't get how I can be generous and selfish at the same time O.o? And the charismatic part is obviously N/A to me!!

OMGZ

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG...
I was supposed to go OG dinner today...
then I was dragged by my classmate + another friend to go for choir audition...
And...
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG..
I really went...
I was damn scared...
But suddenly I found myself in the room...
Wow...
I sang twinkle twinkle little star with the other boys...
Everyone else was pretty low compared to mine---Even the Cat High Soprano!!...
So I tried to sing in a lower voice...
And failed...
I was so super scared...
So so super duper scared...
My legs were vibrating like crazy...
And so was my voice...
Diaoz there was only like 10 boys????!!!!...
5 per section???
Have to sing super loud like that...
Somemore I'm not suitable for tenor...
My talking voice is supposedly the 'alto' type already
Therefore...
I probably won't join choir...
I rejected choir even before they reject me XD...
Just like Wan Chen...
Me, Wan Chen and another girl whom I forgot the name (sorrie XD) went to KFC...
And surprisingly I talked a lot...
Even more than them!!...
Wow...
Ok that's all...
Happy Valentine's Day...
Cya :)

Screw titles

Today is the JC1 commencement ceremony and everyone was wearing full uniform while I wore the polo t-shirt... Not that I forgot about it, but I don't have the full u at all! I have a 3XL super duper epic gigantic shirt which is probably much bigger than the blazer I wear! So... The Jc2 senior pinned the badge on my collar which was like so funny. I wonder how the whole parade looked like on the stage/elevated ground/whatever... A Green rectangle with a white dot in it?? haha

And OMG I can't believe I talked to so many people today... Usually I don't talk a lot because some people easily gets frustrated with my high voice which sounds very g*y... But I will open up more if I can "sense" that the other person don't get frustrated by my high-enough-to-be-soprano voice... Maybe I will go for choir audition for fun if I can get a time-slot before 4pm so that I can join if my 1st/2nd choices reject me =.=

Tomorrow I'm going to be the official for the road run to guide people or something and I shall bring a bag of banana skins there which may be fun as this is going to be my 1st time helping out in an event.. Bye

Zzz

Wasted 22 free SMSes today thanks to SOMEONE who is so friggin cheapskate frugal to save that... at most $1? Not that I care about the SMSes but I felt like SOMEONE thought that I'm a maidservant or something and asked me to help him type 22X8=176numbers... Ironically he's an Indonesian XD (no offense to other Indos)
Also I've just realised that there are approximately 2 times as many girls than guys in the cg... Wow haha XD

Touched a guitar for the 1st time in my life and horrors to horrors surprisingly I realized that the guitar is actually so smashable light... I'm not going to join guitar club anyway because if I join, I will have to buy a guitar which cost about $200+ to $1000++.. Wow I'd rather join bowling which cost around $200 for the equipments

Still at a dilemma on which PDP I'm going to join... Maybe bowling and/or tennis? At the very worst I'll join choir again... I actually love singing quite a bit (Please don't ask me "Are you sure?") but it's just that I don't like being soprano/alto... And I haven't mastered my so called "normal voice" or "low voice" and thus singing with that voice will be out of question haha - The end

Today sucks

In fact this whole week sucks...
Lecture + lecture + lecture + ... + lecture (p.s. This isn't an arithmetic progression O.o?)

Today I made my 1st late-coming into school and as a result I had to stay back until 5pm to collect my card and if I'm late for 2 more times I will need to serve jail terms detention... I just found out that TKSS is such a blessed school as I DID not need to stay back + they give 1 more late coming grace... Ok, sooner or later I'm going to be a part time school cleaner =.=

Lastly, I have also realized that I've cut down on computer games (ie. DotA) as I had the time to blog everyday although I would reckon that only a few people has absolutely nothing better to do are "interested" in my blog... But it's ok I can take this as my personal diary so I don't care how many people read it

Yeah it took me quite a long time to fill those HTML only to find out that there's actually a shortcut if I smashed the computer to pieces upgraded the template zzz...

Don't ask me why my template is bleach-related... It's just that I think this template is cool and bleach is one of my favorite animes

And by the way, I'm posted to CG25 PCMG...yay!! Nevertheless, I will still miss my OG14!!

Those who wants me to link them please kindly leave a tag + url at the tagboard on the left side...

School start

1st of all, I'm posted to TJC which is like 1hr++ bus ride from my house including waiting time, but it's ok I'm used to sleeping in the bus already

1st day in TJC was pretty boring... What else can you talk about other than "Which school were you from?", "What PDP a.k.a CCA do you intend to join?", "What subject combo are you taking?" FULL STOP!! Oh come on whole day can fall asleep sia considering that I woke up at 5.30am (which is super early for me)

1st thing in the morning on the 2nd day I woke up even earlier (around 5.15am) thanks to the stupid paper that says (7.00am take attendance). 1st bus 30 leaves the interchange at 5.58 (as shown on the board as the bus-stop) and it's predicted by me to arrive at my bus-stop at 6.15am so I had to take follow wind car (aka 顺风车) by Patrick's mother... The "Amazing" Race was quite tiring as we walked a lot and cheered a lot (even though I slacked and faked out the words---Mastered in TK CHOIR!!) , not to mention Singapore's nice 1°North of Equator~~ You get what I mean... Lastly the mass dance was...errrr... I don't get 90% of the moves but... Oh well I can always fake it out (like who will see huh?)... The OGL I can tell they are sick of teaching me already lol... Can I skip the mass dance pleeeease??

Did anyone realize that every paragraphs in the post starts with "1st"? If you did, you are soo not reading carefully haha *winks*

AMENDED MY CHOICES XD

$10 gone... but nvm it's not from my pocket anyway so here's another 1000 words...
Well since the last 7 choices are not to my likings I might as well clear them off so MOE GIVE ME MY 1ST 2 CHOICES PLEEEEASE!!

Thursday, January 15, 2009

O level result lo

A picture speaks a thousand words. THEREFORE...
I hated, hate, and will hate chinese forever...but... Many thanks to Mrs Shirley Koh and Mr John Lee (tuition teacher) for helping me to score A2 for my most feared subject =)
My options haha last 6 anyhow put one... Hope I'm not so suay

P.S. Anything worse than option 3 and I will appeal to TJC although it's super far from my house

My 1st 2 choices are somehow similar to many many other 5-pointer like JiaMing and Patrick so we may somehow enter the same school together haha
As mentioned in my previous post, my subject combo is going to be H2 (maths physics chemistry geography) but I may consider H3 maths if its fun and I can take it XD
OK enough got 2000+ words already (since I have 2 pictures) happy reading ^^
To all who are going to JC, enjoy your last 2-3 weeks of freedom (or boredom XD)
